Braided Food
Strawberry and pear made from Marjorie Kauffman's design by Christine Manges.
Sweet red apple made by Bobbi Mahler.
Bobbi Mahler also made this braided hot dog! Show right and below. Look at the braided bun, braided hot dog, braided strip of mustard, and the confetti relish.
Eggplant made with a mix of rich dark purples, and a felted stem cap, by Cathy Winship.
A trio of tasty apple trivets of a mix of varieties made by Debbie Ellis.
Three gorgeous pieces made for the challenge by Karen Levendusky: the two wired pumpkins, above, with lovely embellishments, and the jar of red and green and white candy canes. Look at the pretty jar with a candy cane stripe on it -- made with a 4-strand braid.

The two wired pumpkins are based on a pattern by Sandy Kub, found in the Members Only section of the website, although Karen modified the pattern.
This sweet trivet of purple grapes was made by Mary Hibbard. She stitched the 9-loop centers together and added a leaf with stitched veining.
A bunch of purple grapes with stems braided over wire -- made by Rose Robertson-Smith.
