About the Event

Kathy Donovan of Checkmate Farm  raises Karakul sheep.  She cleans and prepares the sheared wool, and then braids rugs out of  the wool roving.  She also makes gorgeous yarns  spun from her sheep's wool.  Check out her Etsy shop:  "CheckmateFarmRugYarn."
