Special Event: Speaker, Helen Condon

Helen Condon is an award-winning rug braiding artist from the Adirondack region of New York state.  She not only makes beautiful and perfectly executed rugs and baskets, but she has incorporated innovative materials such as fur and antlers into her braided pieces.  She is a charter member of the Northern Adirondack Trading Cooperative, belongs to the St. Lawrence County Arts Council, and TAUNY:  Traditional Arts in Upstate New York.  She has served as an Artist-in-Residence at Sagamore in Raquette Lake.  Join us as she shares her work and her immense, light-filled rug studio with us!
